Salmon & Dill Rigatoni

For a quick Sunday supper when you don't want to spend hours cooking, you can always rustle up this easy meal in minutes. Hello Game of Thrones season 4, give me 15 minutes and I'll be back...

You will need:
Smoked salmon trimmings
Fresh dill
Lemon
Peas
Single Cream
Dried pasta (I chose Rigatoni)
Garlic butter
Olive oil
Cracked black pepper

Pop on your pasta to boil with a glug of olive oil to stop it sticking and I'll show you around our new garden while it cooks...
Our beautiful little haven is full of wild Foxgloves, Buddleja, pink Geraniums that I planted last weekend and our lovely new Lavender pot. It's fairly wild right now, and needs a bit of work doing to it, but I adore it. I'm so at home in a village and pottering around my little sanctuary is my favourite thing to do.

This is our gorgeous little French-style wrought iron table and chairs with mosaic top. Next to the exposed brick it's full of rustic charm, and a complete steal because the last owners left it - can you believe it!

Nestled in the trees there are families of blue-tits, blackbirds, a robin and a couple of naughty squirrels. Walthamstow Village really is a wonderful place to live after four years in Holloway, and I can't wait to share more snaps with you as we go. Oops, back to the kitchen...

Once the pasta is almost ready but still al dente, add the peas to your boiling water so they cook together for the last couple of minutes. Drain and put to one side. Next take your cream, salmon, dill and garlic butter and stir until it's just boiling. Grind in some fresh black pepper and a good squeeze of lemon. Stir in your pasta and peas and serve. See - easy peasy! (Sorry). Now where is that remote...
